Human images and characters play a central role in my work. For me, there’s nothing more captivating than people with all our strange habits, moods, virtues, and flaws. Everyday scenes are a powerful source of inspiration, and the more spontaneous the situation, the more emotions it evokes in the viewer. As a modernist, I depart from traditional forms and create new ones. The angular lines and shapes in my works, partly inspired by elements of cubism and filled with humor, mirror the complexities of human life—like a stock market chart, full of twists, turns, and breaks. Nevertheless, we tirelessly seek harmony, even in the midst of existing chaos—and, thank God, we find it!
